Roquebrune Cap-Martin

Roquebrune Cap-Martin is a picturesque and wonderfully decorative village overlooking the sea. The beauty of its headland makes this site exceptional. The avant-garde of the 1920s settled in Cap-Martin where one of its notable representatives, Le Corbusier, built his hut on the rocks. Eileen Gray chose this site for her villa “E 1027”, an emblematic landmark in the history of early modern architecture.
Coco Chanel, Rodin, Winston Churchill, Marlène Dietrich, Sacha Guitry, Jacques Brel… these and many other leading personalities were enchanted by the magic of this place.
